Matt taps nearly three decades of experience within gaming, esports and brand marketing having worked in a number of business leadership, development and marketing roles. Matt’s experience and achievements span both business and creative landscapes, he is equal parts entrepreneur and corporate executive. He has successfully visualized and scaled global business models at some of the world’s biggest corporations and most beloved brands. His creative work has earned him a Primetime Emmy Award, as well as award recognition from Clio, SXSW, Cannes and Webby.
Prior to D20, Matt was Vice President of Gaming & Entertainment, Strategic Alliances and Ventures for The CocaCola Company. While in this role, he lead the entertainment marketing strategy, related partnership alliances and venture investments across the brand portfolio. Matt was initially recruited as Head of Global Gaming and was responsible for putting The Coca-Cola Company into the center of esports and gaming culture, thanks to strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Riot Games, Electronic Arts and SuperCell.
His previous work includes content development, marketing and leadership roles at Electronic Arts and Sega Entertainment, where he published dozens of games, many of them industry award winning.
